The Father’s Business
An Online Bookstore Featuring the Work of Sylvia and Elizabeth Gunter
Project Date: June 2018
One of our longstanding clients, The Father’s Business, made the decision to move away from a manual order system to a standard ecommerce system. Our task would be to create an easy to use web site that would also be easy for their staff to manage. We would also need to work with the company providing order fulfillment to make sure the transitional process was simple.
We created a fully functional online store which processed payments through their existing payment system, which made the transition less difficult for the office. With the upgrade in technology, we were also able to create digital versions of several of the client’s books and all of their audio products downloadable.
It is my pleasure to recommend Nathan Ingram. He’s the best and so attentive and responsive to work with. For a number of years he has done my web design and been available always in a timely manner to troubleshoot and maintain the ongoing process of the online store. (Just for contrast, my relationship with my previous web person was adversarial and unsatisfactory.)
I am a Ludite with techno stuff and Nathan is an expert. He is ever so patient with questions and what I don’t know. His wonderful attitude and sense of humor really enhance the relationship. It is a pleasure to work with him.
He also helps me maintain a weekly devotional on ConstantContact that goes out directly to over 10,000 people and has made great suggestions (like connecting it to FaceBook, which has bolstered the readership by tens of thousands around the world).
In short, Nathan is an all-around good guy who is very conscientious and expert at what he does. And what he promises, he delivers in an excellent manner. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I have every confidence in him. I couldn’t do it without him. I trust him completely.
